My Why

Why I plan travel

For me, travel represents more than simply getting from one place to another. I love discovering what makes a destination special; the culture, the people, the food, the experiences, and the little details that can turn a good trip into an unforgettable one. Becoming a travel advisor gave me the opportunity to combine that passion with something I genuinely enjoy: helping people. I love taking the time to understand what is important to each client and then creating a trip that feels personal to them. I want my clients to feel confident that every detail has been thoughtfully considered.

Approach

Planning philosophy

My planning philosophy is simple: your vacation time is valuable, and it should be spent enjoying the journey, not worrying about the logistics. I take the time to understand how my clients like to travel, what they value, and what they want to experience, then I thoughtfully coordinate the details to create a seamless, personalized journey. My goal is to provide zero-friction travel while adding the expertise, personal attention, and destination knowledge that make the experience truly special.

Difference

The Exquisite difference

Booking online can give you options, but it doesn't give you an advocate. I get to know my clients personally, use my destination knowledge and industry relationships to match them with the right experiences, and carefully coordinate the details so their trip feels effortless from beginning to end. My clients aren't just booking a hotel, cruise, or vacation, they are gaining a trusted travel professional who is there to help them make the most of their time and investment.

In the moment

A save-the-day story

One of my favorite “save the day” moments was helping a client whose honeymoon had become much more complicated than she anticipated. She had originally booked everything on her own, including flights to the Maldives that routed through Dubai. As concerns about the conflict in the Middle East grew, she became increasingly nervous about the safety and logistics of her journey. I was able to step in, rework her flights through a different routing, and help take that stress off her shoulders. In the process, I also found her a newer, better-suited hotel with more amenities than the one she had originally booked, which turned out to be quite dated and limited. What started as a stressful situation became an opportunity to create a much smoother and more enjoyable honeymoon and a great reminder of why having a travel advisor matters.

Insider tip

What I tell every traveler

My best travel tip is simple: don’t try to see everything. I understand the temptation, especially when traveling somewhere new; to pack every day with tours, sightseeing, and as many destinations as possible. But I often see travelers fall into FOMO, trying to fit it all in and ending up exhausted and rushed instead of actually enjoying the experience. I encourage my clients to slow down and leave room to simply be in a destination. Sit down for a great meal, linger over a coffee, enjoy a gelato or dessert, wander a beautiful street without a schedule, and take in the atmosphere around you. You may not check every box on your list, but you will come home with something much better: memories of how the destination actually felt.
